Access & Intake Clinician headspace – Full Time
- Join a great team and contribute to supporting young people
- Full time – 76 hours per fortnight
- Fixed term to July 2014
- Remuneration package: $53,844– $57,156 (Dependent on qualifications and experience)
- Plus 9% Superannuation, Salary Packaging including meals and leasing benefits
- Location: Victoria Park Social Club - Abbotsford
ABOUT HEADSPACE COLLINGWOOD
headspace Collingwood is a local consortium of ten agencies including mental health, psychiatric disability & rehabilitation services, drug and alcohol, local government, medicare locals, employment and education and social welfare providers. This strategic alliance, along with co-operation from the broader service systems forms a ‘community of youth services’ which aims to improve access to services for young people aged 12-25 years at risk of or suffering from mental health issues and alcohol and other drug problems. Community awareness and support to families/carers are essential elements of the headspace model.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
headspace Collingwood has an unique opportunity for two Access & Intake Clinicians to be part of a dynamic new headspace centre in inner urban Collingwood.
To be successful in this position you will have:
- Excellent engagement skills in working with young people and their families/carers;
- A wide repertoire of clinical skills and experience in the completion of mental health assessments, psychoeducation and solution focused brief interventions to young people experiencing mental health difficulties.
