Our purpose is to promote health and reduce AOD related harm.  In June 2012 we changed our name from UnitingCare Moreland Hall to UnitingCare ReGen to give people a better idea of who we are, what we do and how we work. ReGen is the lead alcohol and other drugs (AOD) treatment and education agency of UnitingCare Victoria and Tasmania. 
 
Catalyst is a statewide post withdrawal non residential rehabilitation program for persons aged 18 years and over who wish to address their problematic alcohol use. The Catalyst program is an evidence based intensive 6 week non residential structured program which incorporates individual and, group work focusing on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, motivational enhancement, strengthening family relationships, recreation and socialisation activities.
 
We are seeking an experienced AOD Clinician to join our team. To be successful in the role you will have relevant tertiary qualifications preferably Social Work, certificate IV in Alcohol and Other Drugs Work or 4 key competencies in AOD, qualifications in dual diagnosis or willingness to undertake, as well as demonstrated experience working with AOD or dual diagnosis clients.

Financial Counsellor

ReGen is the lead alcohol and other drugs (AOD) treatment and education agency of UnitingCare Victoria and Tasmania. 
 
We are currently seeking an experienced Financial Counsellor to join our team to provide a financial counselling service to our clients.  
 
You will provide financial counselling that is appropriate and responsive to client needs and direct casework to individuals and families. You will provide individual and group advocacy and negotiation empowering and supporting clients, or on their behalf where required. You will also provide community development and education, training and professional development and promotion of our financial counselling service.
 
To be successful in this role you will have a Diploma in financial counselling and meet the requirements of the ASIC licence exemptions. Qualifications in AOD and Mental Health will be advantageous however it is more important you come with financial counselling expertise.
You will have sound knowledge of the legislation in relation to credit and debt, particularly the national Credit Code, Bankruptcy Act and debt recovery, Knowledge of policies and practices of major creditors, and the ability to identify the appropriate legislation which applies to particular debts. You will have a strong understanding of casework issues related to the target group particularly cultural sensitivity and a current Victorian driver’s licence.

Alcohol and Other Drugs Counsellor – Forensic Services

ReGen is the lead alcohol and other drugs (AOD) treatment and education agency of UnitingCare Victoria and Tasmania. 
 
We are currently seeking an AOD Counsellor to join our forensic counseling team.
 
As an AOD Counsellor you will provide forensic counselling services to mandated clients referred through the Community Offender & Treatment Services and Drug Diversion programs.
 
To be successful in this role you will have relevant tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, Nursing, Family Therapy or Allied Health Sciences, hold core competencies in AOD and dual diagnosis or be willing to undertake, a current drivers licence and experience working in the AOD sector. Experience working with a forensic population will be highly regarded.
