9 day fortnight (reviewed annually, subject to funding and 3 month performance review)
 
Salary and conditions: SACS Award – Community Development Worker Class 2B Yr 1, generous superannuation plus salary packaging.
 
SHARC – Self Help Addiction Resource Centre is a small community based service with a unique approach to helping people affected by substance use problems. SHARC combines mutual self-help and social support, with professional therapeutic approaches, to provide services to young people with complex and co-occurring needs.
 
This position involves working as part of a small dynamic team, providing drug and alcohol recovery support services for young people aged 16 to 25.  Support and care is provided within a peer support framework, enabling young people to live independently within a safe, drug-free, home-like environment.
