White Water Raft the Mighty Mitchell River

Join the group for an amazing adventure down the white water of the Mitchell River.
Located in the Mitchell National Park, north of Bairnsdale and 5 hours from Melbourne, it is a special place for adventure, natural beauty and a location to get away from it all.
The Outdoor Experience programs offer young people the opportunity for some time away in beautiful locations where they can enjoy the challenges of living outdoors and learning some great personal skills.
When: program starts 7th August 2011 and finishes 7th September 2011 with 5 day/4 night rafting camp in the middle!
Where: the Bush Hut Kew, and the Mitchell River for our overnight adventure.
Who: males only, aged 15 to 25, that have or have had an alchol or substance abuse issue

The Outdoor Experience (TOE) offers outdoor adventure intervention programs for young people aged 15-25 years. TOE's Bush Adventure Therapy Program takes small groups of young people who have, or have had, issues with alcohol and/or substance use, on extended wilderness journeys.
TOE is located at the Bush Hut, a heritage listed house surrounded by native bushland in Kew, an eastern suburb of Melbourne.
